Environmental Communication - COMM711

Critically explores the ways various media forms represent the environment. Investigates how environmentalists and other social actors interact with journalists and are represented in news media texts. Analyses a variety of environmental communication texts across mass and social media and popular culture. Develops a critical vocabulary for engaging with the discursive and social constructions of the environment, climate change and sustainability.
